The Pigs

The Horses

The pigs on Animal Farm have the responsibility of controling all of the other animals and keeping them in order. They only have to sleep, eat, and drink beer all day long while ordering the animals to work harder. They have the easiest jobs on the farm but yet they still have the most wealth and highest social standard.

The horses on Animal Farm have the responsibility ploughing/ harvesting grain to sell. They must pull a plougher through the fields all day until their backs ache. Also, because Napoleon enforces the costruction of the windmill it is also the hoses responsibility to pull heavy boulders to the windmill to ad to its contents.

The hens that live on Animal Farm have the responibility of producing eggs for the farm to sell to buyers. Napoleon becomes very demanding to the hens because he wants the farm to make more money. Slowly he increases the daily egg production requirement and the hens go on strike.  The hens are so busy producing eggs for sale that they barely get time to lay eggs to make new hens.

The sheep that live on Animal Farm have the responsibilityof being Napoleon's supporters at group meetings. They have the job of Chanting songs and rhymes. They are not very intelligent so all they are capable of is repeating things. Their most popular chant "Four legs good, two legs bad" is their way of covering up the objections made by other animals at group meetings so Napoleon doesn't look bad.
